Ince-sulted by welcome

22/ 8/2007

PAUL Ince has revealed his anger at the treatment he received on his Moss Rose return.

After his exit during a crucial period of the summer, and the additions of Ray Mathias, Alan Navarro and Danny Swailes - who arrived with the Dons on Saturday before his switch had been officially announced, the former England star and the man hailed a saviour just three months ago, was a target for the boo-boys throughout the 3-3 draw on Saturday.

"I'm a big man and I've had far worse, so I can take that sort of stuff in my stride," he said.

"It is disappointing when you consider that, but for the likes of me and Ray, they would have been watching Conference football this season."

How does Ince know we would have been playing conference football? Ah I forgot there is only one Messiah! If it was such a miracle why were Macc still scrapping for survival on the final day of the season? They would have been safe weeks before the end of the season if it wasn't for such a poor run of form in Feb to Apr - who was responsible for that?
