Building Society bank on Macc

MACCLESFIELD Town's main sponsor, the Cheshire Building Society, has extended its deal to sponsor the club for a further two seasons.

The Cheshire has been a proud sponsor of the Silkmen and has committed its support by extending its contract as the club's main sponsor.

Cheshire's chief executive officer, Karen McCormick, visited the club this week to put pen to paper on the contract extension.

She said: "We are delighted to extend our association with Macclesfield Town and are looking forward to strengthening our partnership as well as enjoying an exciting season under the new team management.

"As a local employer we feel it is important to support our community and this is one of the many programmes we have in place in the region."

Macc's chief executive Patrick Nelson added: "Obviously we are thrilled to have the Cheshire on board as our main sponsor for a further two seasons.

"It's another piece of good news following the signing of new players and several pre-season successes.

"All in all it is shaping up to be a great year for the team and we look forward to building on our partnership with the Cheshire."

Fans can support the club financially by opening either a Silkman Saver or a Roary's Junior Silkman Saver.

At the end of the year, the Cheshire will donate, from its own profits, one per cent of the average total account balances from the previous twelve months to the football club.
