MACCLESFIELD Town have secured the services of Blackpool defender Phil Doughty on a month-long loan.
The Seasiders’ Simon Wiles is already at the Moss Rose on loan and former coach Asa Hartford has connections to the Bloomfield Road club, and the link has allowed Doughty to join the Silkmen’s threadbare defensive ranks.
The 21-year-old has struggled to secure a first-team spot since breaking his leg in two places at the start of last season.
His loan deal ends on December 9.
