PORT Vale winger Shane Tudor has provided Keith Alexander and his troops with a huge motivational tool for the rest of the season.

Tudor, who was an 85th-minute substitute at the weekend, told the Stoke Sentinel after Vale’s defeat: "No disrespect to them, but they’re a s*** club and the fans have paid £15 to see us beaten by them 4-1.

"Look at the size of us to them and it’s a million miles away, like comparing Man United to Crewe."

After registering a complaint with Tudor’s club, Macc chief executive Patrick Nelson told the Express: "I have spoken to Port Vale’s chairman and I’m assured a letter of apology will be delivered this week.

"The chairman says he will be speaking to Shane Tudor but the matter is now closed, other than to say that I’m sure Keith will be putting a copy of the paper up in the home dressing room this week."
