Coca Cola League Two
Glanford Park
Saturday, April 2, 3pm

A TRIP to Glanford Park marks the first of three tough away games for the Silkmen which will have a massive bearing on the rest of the season.

Like Macclesfield, Scunthorpe will be looking to get their promotion challenge back on track after a disappointing Easter.

Both teams managed only a single point over the holiday period with Brian Laws side drawing at Oxford before going down at play-off hopefuls Lincoln City.

While Brian Horton will be without key duo Jon Parkin (suspended) and Danny Swailes (ankle injury), Iron boss Brian Laws also has his problems, notably in defence.

Club captain Andy Crosby is a major doubt after breaking his nose and fracturing his cheek bone against Lincoln on bank holiday Monday, while fellow centre-back Andy Butler (ankle) and right-back Nathan Stanton (knee) are long-term absentees.

Stevland Angus is expected to replace Crosby.
