LINCOLNéS Gareth McCauleyés first-half header has set up a thrilling second-leg tie at Moss Rose on Saturday.
The Imps take a slender 1-0 lead into the game but Macclesfield - having already beaten Lincoln 2-1 at home this season - will be confident of overturning that deficit.
Silkmen boss Brian Horton started with five at the back at Sincil Bank, but is likely to prefer a more attacking line-up with goals being a priority.
That could mean a place for John Miles or Kevin Townson, who impressed after coming on as substitute against the Imps, in the starting line-up.
Maccés Graham Potter has been ruled out with an Achilles problem, while Keith Alexander has no injury concerns and is set to name and unchanged team. Franny Green has recovered from an ankle injury which saw him miss the first leg, and the striker will compete with former Silkmen Martin Carruthers for a place on the substitutesé bench.
