MACCLESFIELD Town have pleaded guilty to two counts of financial irregularities, according to the Football Association.
The Silkmen face three charges relating to a grant received for the building of the McAlpine Stadium and one concerning the club’s accounting records.
Macc have admitted to two charges - but will not say which ones.
The League Two club had until last Thursday to enter a plea and request a personal hearing, which they have done. A date will now be set by the FA for the hearing, though it is unlikey to be before the end of the month.
Macc chairman Rob Bickerton declined to comment.
