Wilmslow Town U18s went out on a high, in their last competitive game before the players go off to university.

The Town team had all to play for in their game against Altrincham Juniors, as whoever won would become champions of Timperley and District Youth League Division One.

Despite conceding an early goal, Town rallied to draw level midway through the second half, but left it until five minutes before the end to score the winner.

The majority of the team have played together since U9 level, and the victory was the ideal way to end their junior careers.

In a closer game then the scoreline suggests, Watts scored another hat-trick to win the derby for Town.

The U9 Panthers finished their season with a flourish, beating Stretford Vics 8-3.

Strong and Attward each scored a hat-trick, with Constantine addding the other two goals.

Town’s U9 Jaguars came away from a whirlwind game against Ashton-on-Mersey with a point.

Lowe and Walker scored for Wilmslow in a 2-2 draw.
