A tournament held at Crewe Alexandra FC’s academy saw success for a Wilmslow school’s U-11 girls’ team.
The competition was organised by Cheshire Schools FA and the Cheshire and Warrington School Sports Partnerships.
The overall winners were Ashdene Primary School, from Wilmslow.
The young stars from the Thoresway Road school will represent Cheshire in the Northern Regional Finals at Newcastle United FC Academy on Saturday, March 26.

Upton meanwhile, will look forward to their next competition with some confidence after their success in bringing home the Plate.
The medals and certificates for the competition, and for the Boys and Small Schools competitions, were sponsored by Big Storage.
