PRESTBURY couldn’t get the final wicket for victory against Winsford.
After declaring on 234-5, Prestbury claimed 17 points from the drawn match, after Winsford closed on 173-9.
The club’s under-18s took on Offerton, who batted first and made 125-6. After a shaky start, Prestbury’s reply ended as they were dismissed for 98. Ross Elliott (33 not out) led the chase.
THE third XI were put in to bat against Bramhall fourths and, after struggling to 59-9, were rescued by a 64-run partnership by last pair Connor Hibell and Ben Milner.
Chasing 123, Bramhall lost by two runs, Ben Jeffereys taking six wickets and Jim Lock four.
