Bollington got the better of a drawn game at home to fellow relegation probables Stockport Georgians.

Bolly batted first and compiled 197-7. Rick Hough top-scored with 66 and was well supported by the returning duo of Tom Gower (41) and Mo Ali, who made 26 not out.

Georgians’ overseas player Jeremy Devlin took 4-61.

In reply the visitors had one key stand, between Adam Gaskarth (65) and Iftikhar Hussain (43), and otherwise lost wickets in bunches with Syed Khan (3-71), HM Imran (2-46) and Ali (2-37) all bowling well.

The Georgians innings finished with the scores tied at 197 for the loss of eight wickets, meaning Bolly took 12 points to Georgians’ 16.
