WOMEN'S CRICKET: CHESHIRE close their County Championship campaign with games against Middlesex, Warwickshire and Staffordshire at Taunton this week.
The squad for these games includes five Poynton players - Hannah Gradwell, Megan Frost, Jennie Sclater, Jenny Halstead and Sarah McCann - and Pott Shrigley's Megan White.
Following the abandonment of Cheshire's fixture at Staffordshire on Saturday, they share top spot with Warwickshire on 45 points.
Halstead has also been named in the England development squad, who will take on the full England side next month, before facing South Africa in a Twenty20 fixture.
Halstead will also captain an ECB Development XI in the European Championships in Holland.
