I was sheltering from an almighty downpour today and two postmen strolled past sporting short trousers as if they were in colonial Africa. I particularly like the black socks and shoes with the khaki shorts, it gives a certain sense of quirkiness to the uniform. You don’t want your post delivered by a surf dude do you?
