This week’s Time-trip features celebrations galore, with two hen parties a Caribbean-themed night and a 16th birthday party.

Each week we publish a set of pictures taken by Macclesfield Express photographers which appeared in the paper in the 2000s.

They can be seen first on our website and are then reprinted in the paper.

This week we have shots of two parties - one leaving from Wetherspoons Macclesfield for Manchester, with Rebecca Smith holding an L plate and limo driver Andrew Moreton, middle, and another of bride-to-be Susan Smallman (left) with her hen party leaving for Blackpool from the Flower Pot, Macclesfield.

There is also a picture of The Global Rock Youth Exchange’s Caribbean Night at Mykita Club, Snape Road, Hurdsfield, Macclesfield.

Finally, we have a snap of Natalie Poucher’s 16th birthday party at Fermain Club, Macclesfield. Natalie is in the middle at the front, wearing a blue dress.

The pictures were all taken in the mid-2000s.

If you have any pictures you would like us to feature on this page, send them to us at communities@menmedia.co.uk or via the Facebook page.
