Police are urging residents to be alert and check their security lights after a homeowner found theirs had been tampered with.
The Bollington resident discovered that someone had put tape over the sensor of the security light at the front of his property on Wednesday last week (October 19).
PC Lesley Long said: “A resident in Bollington has arrived home on Wednesday to discover that his security light at the front of his house had been tampered with and it had tape put around the sensor.
“Please check your security lights and if any have been tampered with ring 101 and report it.”
