"I WAS born in Wilmslow, lived for many years in Henbury and still live in the ecclesiastical parish and worship in the church. I was first elected to the Borough Council in 1976 and I had the honour of serving as Mayor of the Borough in 1999/2000. During my working life I was a Radiographer at Macclesfield Hospital.
"I am committed to proactively supporting the interests of the residents of Alderley Division, particularly the Parish Councils who will be important stakeholders in the new Council. I support the Alderley/Nether Alderley by-pass and am a fierce defender of the greenbelt and our countryside.
"I am a school governor and am keen to see the continued improvement of local education. I am interested also in health care and provision for all ages.
"The new Council will be responsible for all the services previously undertaken by the existing County and Borough Councils and I am determined that it will provide value for money, efficient local services. Please continue to show your trust in your local Conservative Team on 1st May."
