THELMA JACKSON is married to Jimmy and has two sons. They are all involved in their local business. Thelma has represented the Prestbury Ward on Macclesfield Borough Council since 1999, and is very active in planning and environmental matters. She is the Borough champion for heritage and design.
Thelma is a governor of Prestbury School, Chairman of the village Amenity Society, a trustee of the Village Hall, and a fund-raiser for the East Cheshire Hospice.
She has lived in the area all her life, and is passionate about preserving our local heritage and resolving local issues. If elected she is pledged to promote the interests of the area, and conscientiously deal with local and community issues.
