AINSLEY has lived locally with his family for the last 33 years, and he has represented local residents as their Borough Councillor for over 12 years.

In that time he has earned a reputation for his hard work and dedication to the people he represents. Since being elected Ainsley has served on all the major committee’s within the council and is now Chairman of the Scrutiny Committee whose remit is to review council’s services and decisions made by the Cabinet. His involvement in our community goes back many years, as both a past long serving governor of Bollinbrook C.E Aided School and as a Chairman of Fallibroome School P.T.A both of which schools his son attended.

As an experienced Councillor he has been able to help many residents with their individual problems and has campaigned on numerous issues impacting on the local residents within his ward and the wider community. Recent campaigns include working alongside local residents to try and stop building development on Macclesfield Cricket Ground, addressing the parking problems around the hospital site and his fight to get the Post Office on Merriden Road re-opened for local residents.

Ainsley stated “If elected I want to ensure that the Cheshire East Council provides excellent services at a reasonable cost to all residents, and to also make sure that this new authority provides the opportunity for a better future for all ages of residents”.
