Arrests in major drugs raid

MACCLESFIELD police has launched a series of drug raids - one of the largest operations ever seen in Cheshire - in a bid to clampdown on suspected dealers.
A total of 150 officers were involved in the sting - branded Operation Strikeout - spanning 20 addresses in Macclesfield and Wilmslow in the early hours of Wednesday (April 23).
In Wednesday's raid, 14 men and three women were arrested and are now being questioned by detectives.
