JOHN Goddard has lived and worked locally for over 30 years. He has been a member of the Council for the past 10 years sitting on various committees, most recently on planning, licensing and the standards.
As a member of the Town Centre Development Panel he would like to see Macclesfield have a flourishing town centre, unique in its design, and a place where people would enjoy visiting.
He is active in the local community having been a school governor and is secretary of the Broken Cross Allotment Association.
In the past John has been a Councillor for both Bollinbrook and Broken Cross he knows the area well and prides himself to be able to respond quickly to any problems whenever they arise.
As a keen walker and fisherman he has a great interest in the care of the environment and as a member of Cheshire East Council would fight to improve access and maintain paths and cycleways throughout the area.
