Fallibroome Academy students were record breakers for the second time in just a week after smashing their result's records in their GCSEs.

The news follows on from the Sixth Form pupils finding out they had done the same in their A level examinations last Thursday.

A stunning 82 percent of students achieved the benchmark figure of 5 or more A* to C grades including English and Maths, with 35 percent of entries being graded at A*/A.

And in total, 39 of the brainy group managed to attain nine or more A*/A grades in their exams.

In addition, 40 percent of students achieved the English Baccalaureate qualification.

Principal Peter Rubery praised his students and their teachers for their hard work and service to the school.

He said: “Every student deserves praise for their hard work and commitment. This remarkable cohort made a tremendous contribution to school life and was a pleasure to teach.

“They should be proud of smashing a number of records and achieving their ambitions for post 16 study or work.

“We wish all our students well and look forward to welcoming the many students who have chosen to join the 6th form in their stunning new facility in September.”
