Just when you thought those Real Housewives of Cheshire could not have any more bust-ups (yeah right) they went and capped off the final episode of the series with an all-mighty row which has left the possibility of a second series hanging in the balance.

But while we all thought it would be Ampika Pickston, Dawn Ward and Leanne Brown with the claws out after last week’s episode it turned out to be others among the Cheshire set causing all the fireworks.

Well almost, Dawn was involved. Shocker.

Here are 10 things we learnt from the final episode of series one:

1. Dawn loves hunting... sort of

Dawn on The Real Housewives Of Cheshire: Ep10 on ITVBe

We could hardly have had an entire series about the Cheshire elite without mentioning the Cheshire Hunt could we?

Nevertheless we were initially horrified to discover Dawn might be hunting animals for sport.

But we were quickly calmed when she revealed the 50 horses and hunters she welcomed onto her property were taking part in a drag hunt - where the dogs and riders chase a scented rag rather than a live animal. Phew!

Although Dawn was thrilled to have 50 horses on her driveway she was less excited by the hounds, one of whom needed a 'number 2' right on her grass.

2. What the height of sophistication is...

Clearly Dawn Ward has not been reading our reviews of the show, if she had she would know a Real Housewives if Cheshire dinner party is a complete disaster. But the propery magnate is convinced this is what she and Ampika need to get back on track. Good luck with that.

Needless to say Dawn is out to impress with her menu which will be pure elegance. Apparently that means steak and chips followed by sticky toffee pudding.

Put your crème brulée away it seems.

3. That we cannot bear the Ampika/Mark break-up any longer

Mark and Ampika on The Real Housewives Of Cheshire: Ep10 on ITVBe

For weeks we have been begging Ampika to get back with Mark but it looks as though our pleas have gone unheard.

But that has not stopped them analysing their relationship to camera and among friends (though of course not with each other).

It seems, now closer than ever, the pair are still perfect for each other. When will they see sense?

4. Dawn needs putting in her place

Magali and Lauren on The Real Housewives Of Cheshire: Ep10 on ITVBe

Returning from her holiday in Dubai Magali is desperate for all the gossip from Lauren.

The pair have some strong words to say about Dawn - none of which they repeat to her of course.

Lauren seems to have had her fill of Dawn. She said: “You know what it is with Dawn, once bitten twice shy.

“I was bitten how she was so rude. I saw her insult my husband, she has called me names. She’s not nice about anyone.

“But I’ll still go to her house and drink her drink and eat her food.”

5. Who makes the perfect clients?

Dawn and Leanne on The Real Housewives Of Cheshire: Ep10 on ITVBe

If you are going to start an interior design business you could not ask for better clients than Wes and Leanne Brown, according to Dawn.

Apparently that means standing by and looking pensive while Dawn makes decisions about your new multi million pound property.

Leanne: “It’s just easier to let her get on with it and I don’t really have to do anything.

“We all know Dawn’s a control freak. Even if I disagree with something she always talks me into it. Because Dawn always knows best.”

6. Dinner party hosts don’t cook

It seems the makers of Come Dine With Me have got the whole premise of hosting wrong, at least as far as the Cheshire Housewives are concerned.

As Tanya and Leanne head to Dawn’s swanky soirée at her home Tanya innocently asks if Dawn will be cooking.

The look on Leanne’s face says it all.

“No it’s a dinner party, she’s not going to be cooking.”

Silly us.

7. They didn’t need Ampika to start the fireworks

We all thought Ampika’s late arrival was to help her make a grand entrance and get a few things off her chest, but after a hard day struggling with her dad’s illness it was the last thing Ampika wanted, and she made an early exit.

Luckily drama was provided in the form of Leanne’s husband Paul who proceeded to make Magali cry after declaring her story about her sister’ cancer battle was depressing.

8. You can’t stop Paul when he is on a roll

Lauren and Paul on The Real Housewives Of Cheshire: Ep10 on ITVBe

It seems Paul was not content with upsetting Magali, out of no where he rounds on Dawn telling her that her attempts to try for a baby will be unsuccessful.

In fact he told the 41-year-old she had more chance of meeting Donald Duck than falling pregnant.

Enraging Dawn, and most other people at the table, Paul proceeded to give his unneeded opinion on Dawn and Ashley’s family plans.

9. Don’t ever ‘dog’ Dawn’s daughter

Dawn on The Real Housewives Of Cheshire: Ep10 on ITVBe

Yeah, we don’t know what it means either but it had Leanne and Paul unceremoniously booted from Dawn’s house.

Eighteen-year-old Darby stood up for her mum against Paul’s rude assault on her plans for her baby, which prompted Lauren to start slinging mud at Darby - despite her husband having started all of it.

Lauren was as baffled as us by Dawn’s threats, but regardless of Dawn’s choice of words we were quite glad to see the couple kicked off the property.

10. Is there even a chance of a second series?

The Real Housewives of Cheshire cast - Dawn Ward, Ampika Pickston, Tanya Bardsley, Leanne Brown, Lauren Simon and Magali Gorre

With Ampika struggling with her dad, and having still not resolved any issues with Dawn, plus Lauren vowing never to enter Dawn’s home again, can the Real Housewives of Cheshire patch up their friendships in time for a second series?

Each of them have told the M.E.N. they have reservations, and we can see why now, but what about the possibility of a new series with a slightly different line-up?

We will have to wait and see.
