More than 500 homes were left without electricity this morning after a power cut.
The 537 houses in Bollington lost their power due to a fault on the power lines.
Engineers were sent to rectify the problem.
A spokesman for Electricity North West said: “An overhead power lines fault caused the loss of power to 537 customers in Bollington at 9.17am this morning.
“Engineers quickly arrived on site and restored power to all customers by 12.25pm.
