A man is fighting for his life after falling from a fourth floor balcony.

The 21-year-old fell from the flat in Waterside Mill, Knight Street, Macclesfield, at around 11.40pm on April 19.

Paramedics attended the scene and took the casualty who suffered critical injuries to hospital, where he remains.

An investigation by police has concluded no one else was involved in the incident.

A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: “At 11.40pm on 19 April 2016 police attended a report of a man having fallen from a fourth floor balcony of a flat in Waterside Mill, Knight Street, Macclesfield.

“A 21-year-old man is in hospital with critical injuries.

“An investigation by police has concluded no one else was involved in the incident.”
