A murderer has been convicted of assaulting a prison guard.
Charles 'Charlie' Beadell, 23, was proved after trial to have assaulted the officer at HMP Manchester on February 19.
Beadell, from Macclesfield, was sentenced to six weeks in prison at Manchester City magistrates’ court on June 18.
He currently serving a minimum of 27 years in prison after he was found guilty of murdering Zain Sailsman in October 30, 2013.
