RESIDENTS are being invited to say why Kerridge and Ingersley are special.

As part of the Kerridge Ridge and Ingersley Vale Countryside and Heritage Project a workshop is being held to find out how well people know their area and and what attracts them to it.

A successful workshop has already been held at Rainow and this one, on Sunday, June 16 is to get the Bollington perspective.

Meeting at St John's Primary School in Grimshaw Lane, participants will go for a short walk along a prepared route in the area, photographing things that they see and recording their impressions and feelings.

The activities will take about two to three hours with 3pm being the the latest starting time. All materials are provided as well as refreshments.
