Wheelie bins were set on fire on the Weston last night.
A fire crew from Macclesfield was called at 8.40pm to Gilchrist Avenue and found two bins alight.
Firefighters said the fires had been started deliberately.
Police said they spoke to a group of young people nearby but there was no damage and they will take no further action.
