Two fire crews from Macclesfield attended a freezer fire on Essex Walk on Saturday.
Firefighters were called to the house at 12.49pm and extinguished the fire before clearing smoke using a large fan.
Smoke alarms alerted the occupiers and a representative from the Red Cross Victim Support attended.
