Each week we publish a set of pictures taken by our photographers which appeared in the paper in the 2000s.
The pictures will appear on our website and also in the next edition of the Express along with the comments you have made on Facebook.
This week’s column features pictures of the town’s fundraising efforts for Children In Need in 2004.
Canteen staff at Macclesfield College dressed up in fancy dress for the day, and pupils and teachers at Terra Nova School looked brilliant as punks.
Staff at Poynton High School dressed in school uniforms and some pupils dressed as angels, while Michelle Pilkington went one step further and had Pudsey Bear tattooed on her chest.
