EXCUSE me for asking, but do you actually recognise any of the 'celebrities' appearing in all these reality TV shows?

Take that Jade character, I have no idea what her 'talent' is or why anyone would want to listen to the rantings of her boyfriend and mother.

Celebrities used to be either talented individuals or royalty. I could handle that. Then it was anyone who'd been on TV, followed by those whose names appeared in the tabloids, plus their friends, family and pets.

Rebecca Loos said recently: "I really enjoyed appearing on Celebrity X Factor, even though I can't sing."

How did a nonentity with no voice become a 'celebrity' on a televised show for singers? It's truly bizarre, and where do they find all these scary looking characters like David Gest and Pete Burns? I bet Thunderbirds and the Rocky Horror Show have been fertile ground.

Who is Malandra Burrows? No-one seems to have a clue yet she appeared as a 'celebrity'. What does she do?

I used to think George Galloway had some very valid points to make until I saw him crawling about the floor in a Lycra cat suit on Big Brother. Why would he destroy his credibility by appearing on Moron TV?

I did enjoy the search for Maria and the latter stages of X Factor, they had some genuine talent on display, but why anyone would want to watch foul-mouthed people scratching themselves is beyond me.

Remember before all this so-called reality TV we had period dramas, Top of the Pops and great comedy. (If you never laughed at Only Fools and Horses then Big Brother is for you). But this new format has one great attraction for TV companies... it's cheap. Most of the 'celebs' would do it for nothing and, if truth were told, probably do.

I have this great idea for a show where they blast Jade, Pete Burns, David Gest, Rebecca Loos, etc into space and we vote for which planet they land on.
