Proposals to build hundreds of houses in Green Belt in the north west of Macclesfield are to be discussed at a public meeting tomorrow (Thursday).

The draft Macclesfield Local Plan identifies an area north of Prestbury Road for 360 homes.

The area, known as 'C' in the plan, sits between Bollinbrook, Riverside Park, Prestbury and Upton Priory.

The meeting at Bollinbrook CoE Primary School on Abbey Road starts at 7pm.

It will be attended by Macclesfield MP David Rutley, Cheshire East councillors Brendan Murphy, Lloyd Roberts, Louise Brown and Martin Hardy and members of Prestbury Parish Council.

A large turnout is expected, so arrive early to get a seat.
