Police are investigating reports of a mysterious man walking around Wilmslow wearing only women’s underwear and high heels.
Officers say they have received several reports of a man 'acting suspiciously' over the past few days.
He was spotted on Monday and Tuesday, at around 10.30am, in the Adlington Road and Styal Road area of the town.
Police were called, but each time they made a search and the man was no where to be found.
The man is described as being white and in his early 30s with short dark hair.
Sgt Angela Coppock, of Cheshire police, said: “The man hasn’t approached anyone but did cause alarm to those who saw him, especially the woman who was on her own jogging in the woods at the time.
“We have been patrolling the area and have not had any further reports, but I would urge anyone who has any information on this man or sees him to contact us on 101 quoting incident number 277 of August 2, 2016.
“Information can also be given anonymously by contacting Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
