RESIDENTS are being urged to attend an exhibition TODAY about plans to build 152 homes on Henshaws waste depot.

Barratt Homes is hoping to build a mixture of two, three and four-bedroom homes at the site off Moss Lane on the Moss estate.

Access to the development will via the existing entrance and exit to the Waste Transfer Centre.

The scheme is being unveiled at an exhibition at Ash Grove Primary School on Belgrave Road between 4.15 and 8pm.

Representatives from Barratt will be there to answer any questions.

The developer has also launched a website about its plans: www.moss-lane.co.uk.

A consultation will run until January 26. Barratts will then look to submit a planning application to Cheshire East Council in the coming months.

The scheme has been revealed only two months after waste boss Joe Henshaw revealed his plans to leave the area.
