The team behind the Alderley Edge Christmas Light Switch on and Christmas Market is encouraging dog owners to enter their pooch into the fancy dress comeptition.
The lights will be illuminated on Thursday, November 19. There will be a competition for the best fancy dressed dog at 5.30pm, and the general class for best dog will begin at 6pm.
It will be held just outside Costa Coffee in the centre of the village with rosettes and a prizes for the winners.
The Christmas market will start at 5pm and the entertainment on the stage will start at 6pm.
