Two rescue cats have finally found new homes after more than a year in foster homes.

Chester and Simba were both rescued by the RSPCA and had to be treated for an abscesses.

Both were put into foster homes where they grew in confidence thanks to their dedicated carers.

Now after the equivalent of four cat years’, both have been rehomed.

Rachel White from RSPCA Macclesfield said: “It’s quite unusual to have two cats wait so long for a forever home.

“Both had interest and a number of visits but there were no matches.

“Eventually Simba was spotted after appearing in the Macclesfield Express and now has a loving family to call his home.

“Both have settled in very well.

“We are happy for both Simba and Chester. Good things really do come to those who wait.

“I would like to thank their adopters for giving them a chance, their fosterers for their dedication and you the Express for putting into the community and spreading the word.”

RSPCA Macclesfield has many cats, dogs and rabbits looking for homes.
