An employee of AstraZeneca has been cautioned for fraud.

The man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of fraud when police swooped on the pharmaceutical firm's Hurdsfield plant on November 25.

He later admitted the offence and was given a police caution rather than face criminal charges in the courts.

The Express approached AstraZeneca about the incident but the firm refused to comment on the nature of the arrest or if the employee has been allowed to continue working for the company.
