A woman was taken to hospital after he car ploughed through a hedge in North Rode.
The incident happened at around 5pm yesterday at Macclesfield Road.
Fire crews attended and found a Ford Ka had collided with a hedge.
The female driver had already been released from the vehicle and was taken to hospital as a precaution by ambulance crews.
The road was briefly closed in both directions whilst firefighters made the car safe.
