A motorcyclist is fighting for his life after a head on collision with a car in Sutton.
The 65-year-old was riding a BMW motorbike towards Macclesfield when it hit a blue Ford Fiesta travelling in the opposite direction on the A523 Leek Road near the Fools Nook pub.
The rider of the bike, from Leigh in Lancashire, suffered multiple injuries. He was taken by air ambulance to North Staffordshire Hospital where he is in a critical condition.
The driver, a 66-year-old woman, was unhurt.
The accident happened at 1pm on Sunday, May 27.
