A man who assaulted THREE police officers after damaging a car has been jailed.
Daniel Jack Crouch, 23, injured constables Thomas Pinder, Ian Paterson and Christopher Howard during the incident in Macclesfield on May 15.
On the same day he damaged the windscreen of an Audi TT belonging to Lynne Edwards.
Then the following day, May 16, Crouch caused damage to the police cell at Cheshire Police’s custody suite in Middlewich.

At Macclesfield magistrates court, Crouch, of Donagh Close, Upton Priory, admitted three charges of assaulting a police constable in the execution of their duty and two charges of criminal damage.
He was jailed for eight weeks and ordered to pay a total of £425 compensation to the police officers as well as £75 to the car owner.
Court records show the reasons that magistrates jailed Crouch were because they felt the offence ‘serious’ and ‘no other sentence can be justified or viable in the circumstances because the offence was aggravated by the defendant’s record of previous offending’.
