A man had to be cut free from a car by firefighters following a two-vehicle smash in Lower Withington.
The saloon vehicles collided along the A535 at the junction with Lapwing Lane on Monday, October 31 at around 7pm.
Two appliances from Macclesfield and Holmes Chapel were called out to the accident.
The casualty who was cut from his car was treated at the scene by paramedics and then taken to Macclesfield hospital.
