A man has been arrested on suspicion of assault after a woman suffered a head injury this morning.
Police were called to reports of an assault at Waterside in Macclesfield, at 8am today.
Officers found woman in her 30s had suffered a head injury.
A man has now been arrested and is in police custody.
At 1pm three police vehicles were in the car park of the apartments.
A police spokesman said: “At around 8am on Thursday, March 5 police were called to an isolated domestic incident at an address on Waterside in Macclesfield.
“A woman in her 30s is being treated for what is believed to be a minor head injury.”
A man has been arrested on suspicion of assault.
