Patrons of a pub have bared all for a charity calender.

The 12 men who are regulars at The Railway View on Byrons Lane, Macclesfield, combined their interests to pose nude or semi-nude for the project which aims to raise cash for Eash Cheshire Hospice and Shelter, the homeless charity.

Among those brave participants was 83-year-old Graham Calvert, who owns the pub and takes a staring role as Mr Christmas for December.

The unlikely models were pulled together by fellow patron Ros Siddon, who also took on the role of photographer.

She said: “I was stunned by how quickly - and without any strong arm tactics and certainly very little beer - the guys got involved.

“They were all really confident and just went for it. I am so proud of them all.”

The calender are for sale for £5 at the Railway View or High Street Chippy. Ros added: “It’s very funny and the perfect stocking filler for people who want to share in the fun and make some money for two important charities.”

The print costs were covered by Chris Daly, owner of High Street Chippy and pub landlady Jeanette Rowley.
