Snow has disrupted some services in Cheshire East today - including bin collection.
Flash, the country's highest village, is coated in a thick layer of snow.
Dave Rodgers, manager and baker at Flash Bar Stores, said: "It is very snowy up here but there's a snow plough coming up the road
and clearing where it's started to drift. It looks like the council is keeping things fairly good.
"I usually only spend three nights a week here and would be going home on Saturday but I expect to be snowed in until Sunday.
"I don't mind, I have plenty of wine and food - and there's a pub across the road."
The only school recorded as closed in Macclesfield was Wincle Primary School.
This morning, the Cat and Fiddle road was closed due to snow drifts but was being cleared.
