Langtree has announced the latest deals at its City Works industrial scheme in Openshaw, east Manchester.

Breadmaker El Pan Fresco has taken 4,251 sq ft at Medlock Court on a five-year lease at Medlock Court.

Elaine Metcalf, owner of El Pan Fresco, said: “We required more secure premises than our existing ones provided but wanted to remain in the local area, so City Works was the ideal choice for us.”

An existing tenant at City Works, First Choice Flowers, has taken an additional 2,663 sq ft of space on a five-year lease for its expanding business.

City Works comprises of three courts providing a total of 48 industrial units to let ranging in size from 2,600 to 22,000 sq ft.

Jan Brindle, property manager at Langtree, said: “There has been strong interest in the remaining units and we hope to have further occupiers imminently.“
