Hundreds of postal votes for the Cheshire Police and Crime Commissioner elections are at risk of being declared invalid by residents misreading voting instructions.

Cheshire East Council has received 500 incomplete or incomplete votes.

The council is is urging people to take care when completing their postal votes and follow the instructions.

Postal votes must be received by 10pm on Thursday, November 15.
