AN 11-YEAR-old Handforth boy who was born with a congenital heart disease has been offered the dream chance to meet his heroes - the stars of the WWE wrestling tour.

Luke Webb, of Aston Way, who has already had two major heart operations and needs a full heart transplant, has been a fan of the cult american wrestling since he was four.

He and his brother Jamie, 18, who has recently joined the army, are huge fans of the sensational antics of the tour team and never miss the show on TV on Sunday mornings.

Now the Wilmslow High School pupil will get the chance to meet the stars, as he is ferried down to Birmingham for the Survivor Series Tour at the NEC.

Together with mum Sue, 50, dad David, 47 and brother Jamie, who was granted a week's leave from basic Army training, he will be picked up by luxury limo, taken for a slap up meal and then whisked back stage to meet the stars of the show.

After watching his heroes in action, including John Cena, Ric Flair and DX tag team Shawn Michaels and Triple H, the family will spend the night at a top hotel.

Luke said: "I was really excited when I heard that I was going to meet them - I thought it wouldn't come true but it has."

He got the chance to make his dream come true after doctors at Pendlebury Children's Hospital nominated Luke for a dream ticket with the Rays of Sunshine children's charity.

A Manchester United fan, Luke was just two days old when his parents first rushed him to hospital, where doctors diagnosed complex congenital heart disease.

Already, he has undergone complex heart surgery twice at Birmingham Children's hospital, where doctors have carried out an experimental procedure known as a rastilia.

Dad David said: "They have only carried out this procedure three times, and twice it was on Luke. It really puts all your other little moans into perspective when your child is having major heart surgery."

Despite the frequent hospital visits, Luke has accepted his condition with courage and bravely gets on with his life with a positive outlook.

Like any other 11-year-old boy, his bedroom walls are covered in pictures of heroes, including England football stars Wayne Rooney, Steven Gerrard and Michael Owen.

But his real passion is the wrestling and he has a massive collection of more than 100 figures, dvds, posters and books, including a poster of his favourite all time wrestler, Eddie Guerrero, who died last year aged 34.

Mum Sue said: "He gets them for every birthday, Christmas and Easter, you sometimes wonder if he would maybe like something else this year but he always wants something to do with wrestling."

Now Luke is looking forward to his dream ticket day out and has the camera and autograph books all lined up and ready to go.

"I knew I was going but I didn't think we would get the chance to meet them as well. I am really excited."
