The incident happened on Chester Road at 1.15pm, around 300 metres from the ambulance and fire stations.

The truck, which was carrying pigs and cows, was involved in a collision with a Ford Galaxy and a Mitsubishi Trojan.

Four of the five people travelling in the Ford are said to have suffered minor injuries.
