Firefighters dealt with two chimney fires over the weekend.
Fire engines from Bollington and Macclesfield were called to a house on Butley Lane in Prestbury at 10.40am on Friday, after the owner lit a fire which caught in the chimney.
Crews used specialist chimney rods and a hose reel jet to deal with the fire.
Macclesfield fire-fighters were mobilised to an address at Lime Field, Bollington, at about 1.30pm on Saturday. The fire was extinguished using one hose reel.
