A woman has been electronically tagged after breaching her anti-social behaviour order.

Susan Mary Warrington, 54, admitted asking members of the public for money on January 31.

She also confessed to cold calling residents in Elizabeth House on Swettenham Street on the same day.

Both actions breached a five year ASBO she was given by Macclesfield magistrates court on October 16 last year.

Warrington, of Fir Court, Kennedy Avenue, has now been given a community order with 10 week curfew banning her from leaving her house between 5pm and 5am all week.

Sergeant Stephen Davenport, from Macclesfield Neighbourhood Policing Unit, said: “Susan Warrington has a long history of causing problems for the people of Macclesfield through her behaviour.

“The imposing of this curfew and community order will make things harder for her and be a sharp reminder that she cannot carry on making life difficult for our residents.

“This will also serve as a warning to anyone who is given an ASBO, if you break the conditions of the order you will be brought to account for your actions.”
