Mildred Wray - Labour

"In my career I was involved in helping less able children and those with behavioural problems. I recognise the improvements made over the last decade, but there is still much to be done.Unfortunately it is these members of society who will be hit the hardest by the government’s cuts."

Brendan Murphy - Independent

Hilton Road, Disley, Cheshire.

My campaign motto is 'fairness, common sense and an end to the "gravy train"!' Cheshire East was created on the promise of a lower council tax and much improved services. We have not had the tax cut but we are getting service cuts. The Council needs a robust challenge from Independent-minded councillors.
